The 2009 PKAP field season has ended. These are among my last photos of the trenches as Dave, Rita (Dave's colleague from Messiah), my wife Karina and myself stretched a green tarp-like material over the brick walls in the trenches to protect them. I feel the last two are fitting closures to the season...the sun setting through the mesh and this small crew walking away. It was a remarkable month...but I am happy to be home and look forward to the next component of this project. My field season has ended but the digital studio season has just begun as I wade through 70+ gigabytes of photos. I will continue to process and post more photos of the season and Cyprus in general throughout the summer.
